The Wine
Customers have been enjoying super-fresh whites from the Bergsig estate for nearly two decades. Their chief winemaker De Wet Lategan knows just what hits the spot, as this Gewurztraminer deliciously shows. It may be a more unusual and distinctive style with its subtle spice and lychee notes, but it has trademark Bergsig verve and refreshment stamped all the way through it. And, of course, coming from our oldest friends in South Africa (a country where your money goes a very long way), you get unbeatable value. Pour yourself a chilled glassful and take in the heady scents and soft, round, stone fruit flavours. It’s a welcome change from a Sauvignon or Pinot Grigio and goes exceptionally well with aromatic Asian food or creamy chicken.

Lovely aroma and flavour. My favourite. Crisp with lots of flavour. One glass just isn't enough!
