As Anthony Rose wrote in the Independent, “Champagnes made by local growers are not just affordable, but in many instances superior to the better-known big brands.” The Bauchet family are fastidious about quality, ensuring you a divine glass of fizz.

The Wine
Comtesse de Bellefleur Grande Réserve is a classic, Pinot Noir-rich cuvée. It boasts extra depths of richness and complexity, thanks to an extended maturation. From the Bauchet family estate, founded in 1920 in the heart of Champagne, Félicien Bauchet harvested his first hectare a few years later. His grandson Bruno now manages the property along with his cousin Florence and her husband, oenologist Bruno Charlemagne. Their 35 hectares, wholly owned by the family, are sited in the prestigious Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims regions. As the family own the vines, they can monitor their Champagne’s development from bud to bottle. With its elegant structure and long lively finish, this is a top choice for celebrations or pair with seafood.
