The Wine
Andrew McPherson’s winemaking expertise shines through in this zingy, aromatic Sauvignon Blanc. A second generation winemaker, Andrew is a classic plain speaking Aussie – but beneath his gruff exterior lies the soul of an artist. He makes one of our most popular BIG reds, The Full Fifteen, but especially enjoys the challenge of creating crisp, grassy Sauvignon Blanc – which can sometimes be a tricky task in the warmth of Australia. His winery is based in Victoria’s Goulburn Valley – home to the historic Tahbilk cellar – and houses all the latest winemaking equipment. He named this pure Sauvignon after his energetic wife Nicki, affectionately known as Pickles. She recommends you enjoy her favourite tipple with grilled fish and a spicy salsa.
