Wine Spectator states that "there is no GREATER VALUE in red wine anywhere in the world today than Argentine Malbec”, totally borne out by Opi Malbec, the maestro's eponymous red. He coaxes so much richness and flavour from the fruit, his peers call him 'the magician'. Despite all his wines' success and 30 years as winemaker, he's remained such a gentle, affable and modest man. On a recent visit to the UK, even the official examining his passport wanted to know if he was "THE Opi Sadler!" Obviously another fan of the wine. He crafts this great red from hand picked grapes grown high in Mendoza, then gently ages it in barrel. The result is a gorgeous fruit rich, velvety style wine.
