It’s from the heart of Umbria and the prized Orvieto appellation, which has been crafting fine wines for 3,000 years. Originally the wines were golden and sweet, while today Orvieto is nearly always dry and impeccably fresh. From a family estate founded in 1932, Orvini is an intense, crisp white, while ‘Classico’ indicates it comes from the best, original zone in Orvieto. Winemaker Marina Barbi harvests in the early morning to preserve the freshness of the grapes – native stars Grechetto and Procanico, plus Drupeggio, Vermentino and Malvasia. Great to whet the appetite and also with grilled white fish or shellfish.
