Soñador Malbec 2015

Classic Argentine Malbec from the Bianchi family’s impressive estate. For three generations, the Bianchis have been crafting seriously good wines in Argentina’s wine heartland. And the reason their wines are so good is because founder Don Valentin was a stickler for quality and instilled his obsession in his sons, who in turn have passed it on. In the vineyard, yields are kept deliberately low, and, come harvest time, everything is done by hand. When the fruit arrives in their state of the art cellars, the Malbec is treated to a long, temperature controlled fermentation, during which time the juice is pumped over the skins to extract the dense, black colour. The classic match is steak but the family suggest serving with rich pasta dishes.
