It’s easy to see why The Gooseberry Bush has been a customer favourite for several years now. It’s that leap out of glass, grassy fresh, citrusy aroma, and just as much vibrant pizzazz delivered on the taste. A triumph each vintage by Jacques Bruwer.

The Wine
Bon Courage Estate is one of the most highly acclaimed wineries within the Cape's Robertson region, and every vintage they manage to deliver yet another Gooseberry Bush, brimful of brilliant, lemony zip. Nestled between the Breede River and the Langeberg Mountains, the winery has been run by the Bruwer family since 1921 and every year they win accolades aplenty, including ‘Best Producer’ at the 2013 Novare SA Terroir Wine Awards. Previously, their 2009 Gooseberry Bush secured a ‘Best White Blend’ Trophy, and since then each vintage has been fresher than the one before. It’s an uplifting glassful of grassy, kiwi fruit Colombard with a dash of lemony Sauvignon. Bright and refreshing – a great party white or partner to spicy stir-fry or salad.

On a par with some of the best Kiwi Sauvignons. Easy drinking – light, fresh and smooth
