Back in 1978, the only agriculture deemed viable in what is now known as Marlborough’s Golden Mile – home to Cloudy Bay too – was growing alfalfa. Of course, hindsight is a wonderful thing, as is this latest release of Tikohi. The family recommend this as a glass solo or with salmon, spicy noodles or the local seafood catch of the day.
