The Wine
Diego Planeta is one of the three founding fathers of the “Sicilian wine renaissance” that began in the mid 1990s, alongside Giacomo Rallo of Donnafugata and Lucio Tasca d’Almerita. Today his daughter Francesca and nephews Santi and Alessio Planeta are in charge of the six Planeta estates and state of the art wineries in different parts of the island.
