Dry and elegant with a lovely aromatic character, Prestige Les Terriades is a delicious example of Chenin Blanc – a grape that is once more coming to the fore in the UK. Lower yields, better growing methods and, yes, climate change, mean the dry versions are more delicious than ever. Prestige is crafted by Frederic Moreau, local boy turned expert winemaker at one of the Loire’s leading wineries, operating since 1872. Made with perfectly ripe grapes, without oak, it was bottled quickly to retain freshness. A crisp apéritif and an original choice for salads, fish and chicken.
