We travelled 10,000 miles and sampled 2,000 wines to find the original Patriots Merlot, named in honour of the founding fathers of Chilean independence. It sold out in weeks, proving there’s a legion of fans looking for the smoothest, juiciest and best value Chilean Merlot available. So every year, our Buyer Davy returns to Chile, seeking out a wine worthy of the name The Patriots. And in 2015 he found it on a visit to our old friend Don Cayetano.
